PC Clicking Off

Every morning when boot-up, it clicks back off. I fight with it (on, off, on, off) for about an hour, before the Repair button pops up and even while it is trying to repair, it cuts off (not restarts) but cuts dead off. So I cut it on again and again until it finally gets through the repair and allows me on my desk top. Then throughout the day I can restart with no problem, strange huh??? Can you tell me what is causing this and what I can do to fix it?

Sounds like your power supply or your power switch is getting stuck on (which would turn your pc back off in about 5 or 6 seconds)

Thanks for the response... Could this possibly have anything to do with the internal disk battery in my tiny Acer Revo 100's Desktop tower?
