PC Component Compatibility/Thoughts

Hi i am building a computer hopefully this weekend, and i need to know if all these parts will work together etc.
I have bought the Motherboard, RAM, CPU Cooler, and Graphics card already. I just want to know your thoughts on it

You'll need a BIOS update, for a Kaby Lake for a Z170 / H110 mobo. You'll have to take it to a shop to fix it

Could i not go to the motherboard site to download a flash for it?

It wont post unless the right BIOS is on it. Unless you replace it with a B250 / Z270 mobo.

You'll have to take it to a shop or buy/borrow a Skylake CPU to flash it first

Do you absolutely need the BIOS update?

yup for a Kaby Lake you do for a A Z170 mobo

It needs bios 2.7 / the 2nd to last BIOS to support that CPU

If you've ordered it either cancel it. Or contact them and ask them to update it before they send it

What exactly do you need it for? Will it affect the performance of my system or no?

It wont turn on without it.

Would it just be easier to get a skylake instead of the kaby lake?

It'll probably work with a Skylake

So with skylake, i won't have to do the BIOS update? And also from the 7600k to 6600k is there a noticeable drop?

I dont know if there is a diff between the 6600 and 7600k. Might be since the 7600k is 7th gen the 6600 is 6th gen

Like I said it will work without an update. Kaby Lake will need an update
