Hi! I have a samsung tv 40f6400 model. Connect it to pc as a second monitor via hdmi cable v1.4.
The problem is that I notice a delay of a few hundredths of a second. Furthermore, when I run youtube videos do not run smoothly and cut down slightly.
Movie also has a problem with potplayer. Of vlc player movies work smoothly and dragging the video clip to pc monitor running smoothly and normally.
In your opinion, where is the problem? Does setting of nvidia gtx 660 or i5-3470 processor?
Thanks in advance!...

i7Baby is right. TV's tend to have high response times which can cause ghosting, or what would appear to be lag. Certain televisions are better than other for this. 120hz 4ms or lower would be ideal, but 60hz at 6 or 8ms will show ghosting (lag). Televisions with lower response time tend to be a fair amount more expensive. My TV that I use as a monitor is 6ms 60hz and while I do notice the ghosting I ve kinda got used to it. I just turn off motion blur in all games, and use the the natural ghosting of the tv as my motion blur, lol.

Not entirely true. 60hz 6ms or 8ms still should not cause very noticeable blur; most TVs labelled 6ms or 8ms are incorrectly marketed using different standards, and by monitor gtg have more like 20ms to 50ms response times.

I switched from VGA to HDMI a couple years ago. The difference was night and day; HDMI is all around better.

That's good to know. I didn't know which would be better. Thanks.

Try to make the TV as the primary display and noticed that none of the TV and pc monitor not cut. When pc monitor as primary monitor and the TV cut, of pc monitor not cut.
What does that mean?

google translate: BG / EN

When tagging TV from below and put check the "make this my main display" everything is fine. No lag window (minimize) no lag and videos ...
The problem is that i want pc monitor as the main screen, and when is there lag on tv, and pc monitor themselves at the windows (minimize) also experienced cut and lag
HELP!

i didn't say that i use only the TV.I use both of them at the same time - the TV and the Monitor.I want the TV to be as the second monitor.
The problem is that there is lag, but when i chose the TV as the Main Monitor there is a quite good improvement.
What causes this ?
