PC console emulation

Console emulator on a PC
Is it identical to the console or there are differences
Are they even worth it if u already own that console or is it time to s trow my ps4 away cuz I only keep it for the exclusive like uncharted 4 ,horizon zero Dawn, journey, etc

Emulators are not identical to consoles, since they are simply unable to emulate very low-level features with 100% accuracy. Even NES emulators have very minor problems, and more advanced systems [especially the N64] are very difficult to emulate well.

PCs have working emulators up to the PS2/Gamecube/Wii in various states of development. It's unlikely newer systems will be emulated for some time due to complexity.
