So i've been having this problem for about 2-3 weeks and have tried quite a few things to try and fix it myself but to no avail. Here's what happens. It seems to be on my first boot of the day i'll get to around the windows loggin screen and the PC will power itself down and restart. This can happen anywhere from 3-15 times in a row before it finally stabalizes. It has been happening most days but some days its completely fine. As mentioned previously though it does seem to be most commonly on my firts boot of the day. Here's some things i've tried so far.

- Fresh install of video card drivers using DDU.
- Unchecking the "automatically restart" box in the Start-up and recovery section of System properties in hopes of getting a blue screen with some useful information. I've yet to recieve a blue screen only black screens.
- Checking for hardware failures with the Resource and Performance monitor. The only error that appeared was taskhostw.exe saying that its CPU consumption was high. It also says that my CPU usage is at 99% however when i open Task manager it displays my CPU usage at 5-10% since im idle.
- Used CCleaner to clean the registry.

I'm yet to do a BIOS update or a clean install of Windows since i would rather not if i don't have to. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Here is a pastebin of my specs: https://pastebin.com/MzLenPAC

Solution
temps on both your CPU and GPU are normal. you can try to do a FurMark or 3Dmark or any GPU benchmarking tool you have and watch the temps of your GPU.
if there is nothing wrong with your temps, and your AIO cooler. then youll have to go thru with that BIOS update and windows fresh install. with the proper drivers from your mobos webiste. if it still happens, then its most like your PSU.
have you tried checking your Event View logs? just press winkey+s. type "event viewer". custom views. administrative. and scroll down on the events of shutdown/restart. just look for the errors/warning within 1min before it happens.

Ok so i just had a look and theres one cirtical error with the source "Kernel-Power" and it says "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." Could this be an issue why my PSU?

if the Kernel power error number is 41. its a hardware issue. i would like you to see the errors/warning before that critical error tho. but most likely you wont find any.

we can confirm this is a hardware/bios issue since it did not ring anything on the OS level.

Ye the event ID is 41. There are 3 errors before the critical error which are the following:

1. Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0 EventID 1101
2. Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0 EventID 1101
3. The previous system shutdown at 13:07:38 on ‎02/‎01/‎2018 was unexpected. EventID 6008

you can disregard that. we'll just look into your hardware. your PSU is decent. got at least 50amps on your 12V. unless its degraded and getting faulty thru use. but we still have to confirm that. have you done any overclocking? do you have an oc software that is constantly running on the background? have you tried just resetting your BIOS to its defaults?

I have overclocked in the past but my system hasn't been overlocked in the past year. I don't have any OC software installed now however i used to have EVGA Precision. I haven't touched my BIOS as of yet but is was going to be my next course of action. Do you recommend me resetting it to default and then reporting back?

if you said you didnt do any OC, then its okay. you dont have to. you can check your temps with the HWMonitor tool. check your CPU or GPU temps. check if your AIO pumps are still working as they should be.

if there is nothing wrong with your temps, and your AIO cooler. then youll have to go thru with that BIOS update and windows fresh install. with the proper drivers from your mobos webiste. if it still happens, then its most like your PSU.

CPU is around 35°C and GPU around 65°C when idle which does seem a bit high for the GPU i think. I can get some stress test temps if needed just let me know.
