Hi all,

I am sorry for the silly question.

So my concern is that today got really hot the outside and also inside my flat(room) so i had to turn on the ac. In the room was like about 30c degrees or more. I was sweating like a horse. I released down the shades and turned on the ac.About half an hour the room cooled down to arund 20-18c degrees.More or less because the ac is only in my room.

So my questions are:
1. Can be the computer or its components to be damaged? For example to be like moist inside because from the warm to suddden cold room/the components flexing because from sudden the warm to cold room?
2.Can be the computer damaged because the way the ac is blowing is almost straight to the the computer?
3.When i turn off the ac and gets again hot in the room could be problem.
4.Do i need to wait to turn on the pc until the room neither hot or cold?(All day was off)

Thanks for your replies and sorry again for the silly questions.

You should not get condensation when blowing cold dry air onto a warm computer. Condensation can be an issue if you have a very cold surface and allow hot moist air (very high dew point) to contact a cold surface. The widows of my house are a great example -- cannot see out them since it is over 90F with high humidity today and I have the AC set to 68F -- loads of water on the outside of the windows.

Just run your computer for a while after you shut off the AC and it will be plenty warm to avoid condensation. And if you had any it would most likely only be on the outside since the inside of the case is fairly warm. This is not the situation that you can run into with phase change cooling the CPU -- since that is directly on the CPU.

So as I understand when the pc is cold and i turn off the ac becomes hot again in the room. The pc not really going to get any moist/condensation?

That is my concern. I ran the computer when the ac was on and i turned it off while ago the ac and pc is still running. It can be problem?
