Question PC crash at unpredictable times ( Event 41, Kernel-Power)

I've been having an issue with my PC crashing for a while now. I have been unsuccessful in trying to understand why it crashes. I have recently learned that I can use the event viewer to see information relating to the crashes. The PC most usually crashes when I spend a short amount of time in a game. the screen freezes on a frame, there is a short screeching sound that comes from the speakers, and I have to force the power off in order to restart. Any help with this issue would be very much appreciated, as I am at my wit's end. Please forgive me if I am not knowledgeable about certain things.
My PC specifications:
OS- Windows 10
CPU- Intel Core i5-9400F
Motherboard- Alienware OT76PD
GPU- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
PSU- Galaxy 650W
HDD- 2TB (1.30TB+ free)

The error in the event viewer:
Log name: System
Source: Kernel-Power
Event ID: 41
Level: Critical
User: System
OpCode: Info

my guess is pc is overheating and causing the crash alienware are not known for there fantastic airy pc.

hw monitor
https://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/hwmonitor_1.53.exe
download and run that software keep the software open then play a game for about 20 minutes then check temps.

my guess atm is the paste under the aio is gone dry and is causing heat issues when being pushed.

or aio is failing.

The error 41 ONLY indicates that Windows was not shut down properly. Overheating, as already suggested is a definite possibility.

In addition to the advice above, navigate to the folder C:\Windows\LivberKernelReports and look in there AND in all sub-folders for dump files (.dmp). Upload to a cloud service all those dumps that you can find, which have a date in 2024, and post a link to them here - be sure to make them public.

So sometimes I am able to play a game just fine, with other applications open at the same time. Just earlier, I played Deep Rock Galactic on max settings for a couple hours, with spotify playing music. If AIO stands for all-in-one, then i want to say that my PC only really has fans, no liquid. the thermal paste under the CPU has been replaced recently, so that shouldn't be a problem. I looked in the liverkernel folder and I didn't see anything but one folder that was empty, and I had show hidden files checked on. When I look in the HWMonitor program, these are the temperatures I get before I let the computer crash.

Please change your temp readouts to degrees Celsius - it's kind of the standard for hardware monitoring, and doing conversion between F and C on the fly is distracting.

That said, 150F is ~65C, and anything less than 80C on a modern CPU (sometimes even higher) is no cause for concern at all. Doesn't look to me like heat is the issue here. PSU might be failing, though. How is the quality of power at the wall there? Any odd issues? Brown outs, etc? Do you use a UPS?

This could be a power issue, PSU not being able to handle the load.

Is that an Apevia Galaxy 650W? Not 100% on the Galaxy model but if yes Apevia generally makes low quality units and if it's a few years old (2-3 years?) it probably cant cope anymore.

Have you tried a graphics stress test to somehow replicate the heacy load like a game and see if it crashes the same?

I wouldn't personally do a PSU stress test like OCCT as that might push the PSU too much. At least not for long. Maybe 2-3 minutes to see how the PSU works under that load.

I would never trust an Apevia branded anything. Some are likely "ok" but that would definitely be the exception not the rule. That said, doubt it's Apevia unless someone replaced it, given the Alienwear motherboard.
