Hi. I have been searching everywhere. Every forum, YouTube video and dark web post I could find and none have seemed to help. When I put high stress on my computer I recive a black screen, no sound and cant reboot. It just wont work. Ihave to turn off the PSU by hand. Then it boots up like normal.
I have:
I5-9600k OC 4.99ghz
MSI z390 gaming plus
ARCTIC freezer 34 esport cpu cooler
T-force Vulcan 2x8 gb 3000mhz Ram
Kingston A400 240 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB Red Devil Video Card
DIYPC TG8 ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair CXM 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply
Unactivated Windows
I tried returning the PSU and MOBO and getting brand new ones with no luck. I tried reinstalling drivers and it just changed the screen to green (nothing else) but I got the new driver and went back to black. Im also having a problem where some files I try to open display "File does not have an app assosiated with it" and I tried the IsShortcut but already had it and couldnt create a new one. I tried other methods but they seemed brocken in there own ways.
I tried restoring windows but same issue. This makes it hard cause some (unimportant) drivers I cant download and that could be the issue.
I think it could be 1 of 3 things now.
1)Bad GPU
2)Drivers not able to install
3)Need to activate windows
