As the title says my PC crashes with both these games.

Setup:

RX 480 Sapphire Nitro 8GB OC Edition
AMD 8350
and ASRock 970A-G/3.1
Corsair CX750 PSU
(the GPU and Motherboard are brand new).

Monitoring temps, the crashes happen within perfectly fine load temps on both the cpu and gpu, and mother board. Mirror's Edge Catalyst will BSOD if not freeze while Hitman will just stop responding and crash to desktop of crash and freeze the PC. There are no bottlenecks, cpu averaging to 60-70% load / 40-60C with all settings to Ultra. Any other game I play to Ultra (WoW, FFXIV, Witcher II/III, BF1) are all fine.

Memtest fine, prime95 good, 3Dmark successful.

The one thing that seems odd to me when using HWinfo and HWmonitor is that info will report that VIN6 and VIN4 fall periodically to 0.00V while monitor reports no changes at a constant 2.3V-2.4V.

What is VIN4/6 sensor? Could this possibly be a loss of power supply somewhere that monitor is not picking up?

I'll also admit that installing the 24pin into the motherboard was a pain, the amount of pressure I had to get it in there was much more than I was comfortable with (took it out of the chassis even).

Haven't played the new Hitman, but Mirror's Edge Catalyst always has screen freeze problems regardless of settings or FPS. I don't get BSOD in it, just the screen freezing forcing me to hard restart the PC. That's a big part of the reason I stopped playing it, other than being a boring game.

It is quite boring. damn you origin access, even they knew it was boring.

Throwing myself at a clean windows and drivers install and hope it was my horrible organizational skills.
