Question PC crash in seconds during stress test.

What is wrong with my pc?

When i do stress test on psu and gpu, the pc crashes in 1 second, sometimes in 2,5 seconds.

When playing new games result is same as above.

No crashing if i do stress test to cpu or vram.

Screen goes black and computer stays on, sometimes fans go full speed.

Pc works fine if i watch youtube or do other browsing on internet.

Temperatures are normal.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
B550 motherboard no brand
16gb ddr4 2x8

How old is the PSU? Original to build, new, used, refurbished?

History of heavy use for gaming, video editing, or even bit-mining?

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some error code(s) just before or at the time of the crashes.

My thought is that the PSU is nearing its' designed in EOL (End of Life) and beginning to falter and fail at times of high and/or sudden peaks in power demand during game play.

i bought the pc second hand, assembled by some dude, im afraid it might have been used for mining, not sure if whole pc was used for mining or only the gpu on some other pc.

besides that above-----------many other error or attentions things in event viewer like
rtx has stopped working, cant remember what the rest were, but it sure was bitching​

Increasing numbers of errors and multiple types of errors is, to me, an indication of a problem PSU.

Do you have another PSU that can be swapped in for testing?

i ordered a new psu and gpu, i will let you know if fixed
