PC Crash messed up screen resolution

I was playing games when my computer crashed (It always and i cant fix it) and then when i turned on the computer again the screen resolution got messed up. I tried changing it back but my reccomended screen resolution (1600x900) wasnt there anymore.

Your drivers are probably broken. Uninstall them using the display driver removal tool from Guru3D and then reinstall them.

If the graphics card isn't detected correctly then it will default to an awful resolution and you will only be able to display max 1024/768 or something like that.

your drivers are definitely broken,,,this can only happen cause of driver problems,,so it would be better if you just uninstall your current drivers,,use driver sweeper to remove it completely from your system and re-install them or if there's an update available,,download and install that

My resolution went higher, to 1600 x 1200.

That happened to me too,,when i got my card (sapphire 7770hd),after fitting it in and before installing the drivers my monitor's resolution was messed up too,,,only after installing the drivers did it went back to normal

Use that.
It's the best way to get rid of ALL of your display driver.
Then reinstall the latest STABLE drivers, no beta.
It should be fixed later.

agreed,,dont install beta drivers

Thanks for all your tips, but i didnt need to do them 😛 All i had to do was take out my power plug and then replug it...
