Hello all,

It has been a few weeks now that my PC crashes only when playing Warzone 2 (not on other games but they take less ressources). Screen goes black, fans start to go full speed. The first crashes I had no sound but recently I have a very loud "bzzzzzzzzzz". The only way to get out of this situation is to hard turn off the computer by pressing power button.

I know other people had similar issue, I have tried some solution offered but can't find the right one.

Spec of my PC :
- CPU : 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600K 3.70 GHz
- RAM : 2*8 GB 3600 MHz Vengeance DDR4 Corsaire
- AIO : ICUE H150i RGB PRO XT Corsaire
- PSU : Seasonic Focus GX-1000 80 Plus Gold
- GPU : Asus TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT
- MB : MSI Pro B660-A DDR4
- SSD : AORUS Gen4 7000s 1TB
- OS : Windows 11 before now 10 (after full windows reinstall)

What I have done so far :
- New game installation
- Verified all cables are correctly plugged
- BIOS update
- GPU driver update / new install
- New OS install

Since I am definitly not an expert, I do not know what to do next to identify where the issue come from but after what I have tried, I think the issue is more hardware than software. Can someone help me ?

(Sorry for my english, I am not a native english speaker).

Thank you for your fast reply.

I do not have another GPU to try or to try my GPU on another system 🙁

PSU si Focus.

PSU si Focus.
Should be good there... Prime doesn't handle power transients well, and Vertex is lacking in available reviews at the moment.
Are you using any psu cable extensions? Remove them if you are.
What's the source of the buzz? Curious if you hear it anywhere besides the speakers/headphones.

This won't rule anything out, but it may allow you to play:
Cap your framerate.
Lower the gpu's max power limit. 85~90%.
These will make the loads easier on whatever it is that's struggling. This is usually a power issue somewhere between mobo, gpu, and psu, or a combo of the 3.

I do not use any PSU cable extensions. I only use the one that has been delivered with the PSU.
The source of the buzz come from headset. The sound that was playing in the headset at the moment of the crash turn into that bzzzzzz.

I will try to lower down the GPU's max power as you advice. I'll come back as soon as I have done and tested it.

With AMD Software Adrenalin Edition, I have set the max frequency at 90%. Hope this is what you were talking about putting the power limite between 85 to 90% :

I have been able to do respectively 3 games and 4 games in a row with no crash. 3 games was the maximum I was able to do with no crash before lowering down GPU frequency. This is improvement but I am still a bit careful before saying that I won't have crashes anymore.

So, even if this "solution" allows me to play atm, what kind of tests I can do to precisely identify the source of the issu since warranty is still active for all the material I have in my PC ?

Sorry, but I don't know how to narrow it down further - I wish I did - without swapping out the following hardware:
-Gpu.
-Motherboard.
-Psu.
It might even be a combo of the above.

Hello again,

Unfortunately, my PC crashed again. To be able to play, I had to lower down GPU frequency at 75% and GPU voltage at 90%.

This is a bit annoying since I am not planning to change any components the next few years.

As far as I understand, the way to identify where does the issue come from, I need to change for example my PSU, see if it works. If it still crash, I change my GPU, see if it works and so on ?
