Hi,

Until now my computer has been working fine but yesterday it started crashing 1-2 min after starting a game. I can do anything but any game I play crashes my computer 1-2 min after starting a game. Tried benchmarking and it crashed almost 30 seconds after. Some games I have managed to play by going into windowed mode however benchmarking crashed in both modes.

The computer stills run but I get a black screen and have to force shutdown the computer.

Here is a picture of temps just before crashing.

Temps seems ok so I dont really know what is causing this. I am not so good with computers so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Specs:

Microsoft Windows 10
Intel Core i7 3770K
Gigabyte GA Z77 DH3
4 x 4 GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz
EVGA GTX 980ti SC
OCZ OCZ600MXSP
G2420HDB

EDIT: Sorry for typo in title.

Hi, how old is that power supply? It isnt even 80+ bronze so it might not be the best especially for a system like yours. Firstly, go into the BIOS and look to see if any of the voltages seem off... You should be able to see the rail, such as 12v, and see how many volts it is actually putting out. Although, this isn't a definite answer if it shows as alright, only you will know for sure that your PSU is bad if it isn't alright.

I believe it is 80+ bronze. At least it says so on the PSU but it is a few years old now. I am not so experienced in BIOS but I will take a look, thanks!
