Hi all,
After doing my best to research this topic, I wanted to post here since I have not been able to find a solution.
Last week my computer(built in 2014) crashed while playing a graphically intense game. I believe this has happened twice before but in slightly different situations. This time when I tried to power my system back on the power cycles on and off (~3 seconds of on time) forever. I flip the power switch on my psu to stop the power cycling.
From the internet I've tried a few things
1) Checking and cleaning RAM
2)Trying to boot with no GPU
3)Switching out power supplies.
4)Booting from an alternative SSD
At this point I'm afraid that the problem is either my Motherboard or CPU.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be or have a way of testing if my CPU or Motherboard is bad with out directly replacing them? My CPU fan (hyper 212 evo) spins on start up and appears to be acting normal.
