Hey All. I recently bought this prebuilt PC:
https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali583/p/N82E16883360218?Item=N82E16883360218
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-11400F 2.6GHz (4.4GHz Turbo) 6-Core 12-Thread
GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB
Motherboard: B560 Motherboard
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3000MHz (2x8GB)
SSD: 1TB Intel PCIe NVMe SSDCPU
Cooler: RGB CPU CoolerPSU: 650W 80 Plus Gold
Case: Gamdias Argus M1
I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 on pretty much all high-ultra settings, FPS cap disabled, and after ~45-60 mins the game froze with a red & black hue, then my PC restarted. It was really an "oh crap" moment, because I just paid $1500 for for this computer. Everything seems to be ok though--running fine at the moment and no more crashes (yet at least). I now play the game on all medium settings with FPS capped at 60, which cuts down on CPU and GPU usage, but what would cause a crash like that? Since that happened I've been monitoring my CPU/GPU usage percentages and temperatures and they seem normal. Shouldn't this PC be able to handle intensive gaming?
Side note: XMP is enabled and my RAM (rated at 3000mhz) is running at 2933mhz rather than the base ~2400mhz.
Thanks in advance.
