PC crashes after 5 minutes of gaming every time

I built my PC back in September and this issue started about a month or two ago. It used to happen infrequently, but now is happening every single time I play any game.

What happens is that i'll be playing the game for a while (The crash occurs the quickest when i'm playing Battlefield 4, in which I can usually expect a crash after about 5 minutes of gameplay), and then I will hear a short audio loop from the game before I hear a few loud sounds in my headset (Like this).

Sometimes I will get a screen with randomly-colored lines of pixels on it along with the sounds.

In both of these cases, the only thing that allows me to use my PC again is to do a hard reset.

I've determined that it is not a temperature issue, because my CPU never gets above 65 degrees C and my GPU never gets above 75 degrees C while gaming. I even extensively cleaned my PC of any dust even though there was barely any in the case to begin with.

Could be PSU. That CX units is not good quality.

I would run a few tests before sending anything back or replacing stuff:

-Run memtest86 for 5 passes to check the RAM
-Remove the GPU and play on integrated graphics (I know it will suck but just do it, even at lowest settings and lower resolution). This will eliminate the GPU and see if it is the issue.

If it works without the GPU it is either the GPU or PSU. I would RMA the GPU and then get a proper quality PSU.

Sadly I can't RMA the GPU because it has been more than 30 days since the purchase (i bought it on Newegg) so does that mean I am just screwed?

ah ok. I am creating the support ticket now. Would you classify this problem as "artifacting"?
