Hi All,

Had my rig for many years 5+ worked fine.
Noticed sluggish behavior over past months. PC will now crash anytime loading a game or even occasional loading video. (PC powers off)

Typically needs to hard reset mobo to get it to restart.
Have tried removing/ swapping ram, but same result. Also cleaned the PC of dust etc.. it was a bit overdue XD.
PC does restart fine when GPU is removed after a crash. Has not crashed without the GPU but have not stress tested. Oh and Bios is all default.

Have scanned forums for days, finally posting. Please help!

Spec:
OS: Windows 7 64bit
Mobo: Asus M4A88TD-V
GPU: Msi Geforce 560 gtx Ti
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640. 3.00 Ghz
PSU: (just replaced thought this would fix it) EVGA 500W Bronze
Ram: Crucial (pairs of 2GB) usually run 2 pairs. 1033.

Thank you for any advice!

Yes it seems to work fine without GPU. It starts up and can browse internet etc at very low resolution.
Has not crashed yet without GPU, but I cant play games to try to crash it like with GPU.

ATM I cant get it to boot with the GPU installed. Even after hard reset of mobo.

Unfortunately not under warranty.
Any idea what would cause PC to not boot vs. boot with no display?
