PC crashes every few minutes

I have been stuck with this issue where my computer crashes very often. Now the last few days it has become more common and now I have decided I can no longer ignore this problem.

When the computer crashes the screen turns into some sort of green screen.

PC specs:
Windows 10 (problem already ocurred before upgrading from windows 7)
Intel i3 3220
8 Gb RAM
no videocard

Does anyone of you know what is causing this?

You have created a link to the matrix. jokes aside it looks like the integrated graphics is malfunctioning, do you have a graphicscard you can try out?

Unfortunately I don't have a GPU lying around. But if that would be the problem, do I have to have a GPU? Because that's not an option

Definitely looks like a GPU failure. Check monitor connections and make sure the video cable is fully plugged in-- but, unfortunately, I think you may need to pick up a new graphics card, or replace the motherboard.

Before that though-- confirm you have the latest drivers installed for the graphics adapter. Also, check "Device Manager" in windows control panel and confirm there are no exclamation marks that indicate other hardware errors.

Also confirm you have your Motherboard BIOS fully updated to the latest version. You can pull the latest drivers off of the manufacturers website.
