Hi,

my self-built PC (running smoothly for over 2 years now) starts crashing at least 3 times a month since 2 months.

According to Windows-Event protocol: "Kernel-Power" Event-ID: 41 (unexpected restart)

This is ONLY happening when I am not using the computer. It never happended during any game or use whatsoever.

Can it be an issue of the PSU (short interruptions)?

Hope someone has some ideas. Thanks & regards,
Clemens

It could be...we don't know if it is though. Please post your full system's like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

How old is the PSU? If the issue happens when the system is idle, you may want to pin it to OS corruption. Might want to check and see if you have any BIOS updates pending. You can later see if a repair install changes your experience.
