PC crashes to colored checkerboard when GPU hits 60c

Hello i have been having this issue for a while now and until recently i realized it happens when my gpu hits 60c. When id play demanding games i.e Black ops III ,Arma 3, Far cry primal, i would experience a freeze and i can still hear the sounds of the game and then it was a colored checkerboard and frozen. I dont know if its faulty PSU because i didnt have this problem until these past few months. When i run furmark on Msi afterburner it crashes right at 60c and ive tested it multiple times. ill list my full specs to see which one you guys think it is.
CPU: intel skylake core i3 6100
GPU: MSi twin frozr 750ti 2 gb
RAM: Crucial ballstix 8gb ddr4
PSU:Sliverstone strider 600w fully modular
HDD: western digital caviar blue 1tb

That sounds like a dying GPU. Congrats, you get to upgrade!
