You know, I’ve been running Windows for years now and never had a BSOD “blue screen of death” for maybe a decade at least. It’s been very stable for me. About a couple of months ago my coworker shows me a pic of his wife’s computer screen showing a BSOD and asked me how to fix it. I told him I didn’t know. Then, for no apparent reason, about a month ago, I got a BSOD on my computer (Win10). It had been acting weird for six months now and I thought it was due to the install of TrueImage. Now, I think it was a Microsoft problem because I ran updates after my BSOD and it never happened again yet. Only risk of updating is BSOD during the update. Might want to backup your data (if you haven’t already) and catch up on Windows Updates (again, if you haven’t already).

Well there's the usual "update BIOS, update drivers / windows updates"... other then that though, I've heard Fortnite does not run on systems with RGB motherboards. I see your board has the Gigabyte RGB Fusion(so does mine). Although when I try to run the game, it just gives a pop up error msg & that's it. Upon researching the error, that's when I found threads on the Epic forums talking about RGB and how it has to be disabled.

I just decided to not bother playing the game then disable RGB. Any other game works fine on my system.

Thanks, for you guys responses, toshibitsu, i could play fortnite everydag for how long i wanted so i dont think it has anything to do with the motherboard. And yeah mortemas i think its due to a microsoft update because not long ago there was a microsoft update and it only began happening after that update. Does anybody have a solution or do i just have to wait for a microsoft update?
And btw cio.infose is saying in my language that he is having this problem also.
Can u link your specs cio.infose
I guess i cant wait a little bit and play some pubg

Thanks, Bert

I've done some research here it is much people are having this problem its not microsoft this time.
They wont even release it public..
I'am now doing a sfc /scannow to see if no files are corrupt or lost.

Is a bsod bad for my pc?
I did some more research and the system thread not handled bsod means: This BSOD means that a system thread generated an exception which the error handler did not catch. BSOD error code 0x1000007E may also show "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M" on the same blue screen.

I have the same exact problem starting few days ago. When launching Fortnite, the screen goes black and instantly restarts my pc without any error. After the restart I can launch Fortnite without any issues.
