Ok so, this is my 4th custom build from scratch. I've always tweaked my rigs whether pre-built and adding better GPU, RAM, HDD etc etc. I've never had issues that i couldn't solve on my own with the help of forums. I still consider myself a novice. Ok i'll get straight to it.

This is my first build with Windows 8.1 64bit :fou:
I've updated GPU drivers, I've reverted GPU drivers. Didn't fix issue.
I've replaced RAM. Didn't fix issue.
I've changed Graphics setting. Didn't fix issue.
My PSU is 850 watts.
The games i've tried to play, Americas Army Proving Grounds, Rainbow 6 Siege, DC Universe.
Google Maps has also crashed my PC on occasion.
When i say crash i mean it totally reboots my system.
The system is 4 months old. (RAM is 2 days old). MB, CPU , GPU, PSU, sound card, Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler, all 4 months old or newer.
Case is a Cooler Master 932 about 3 years old.
DC Universe never gave me problems on windows 7 Ultimate. In face, no games did and i've upgraded every aspect of my RIG.
It's a pretty Vanilla set up. Nothing is overclocked here is a Screen Shot of my RIG. If you need any more info let me know.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated, Thank You!

Update your drivers, if they are outdated. Then try launching a game. If it is still bad, try to launch a benchmark. I am not sure if the PSU would cause it to crash (since you are able to operate the computer otherwise it seems), but it might if the GPU starts to suck power that the PSU can't handle.

I've updated the drivers, reverted to older drivers, i replaced my ram with faster ram. I just bought an exact replacement GTX970 and it's still doing the same thing.

I just tried to switch from 720p resolution to 1080p on a you tube video and it crashed and restarted my PC. That is a first. Just last week i was watching 4K videos on you tube.

A new 850 watt PSU is in the mail. I'm hoping that is the answer.
