When playing destiny 2 after around 30 minutes to 2 hours my computer crashes. I have tried re-installing windows but this doesn't change anything. The pc specs are gtx 960 4gb, i5 6500, 8gb ram.

The crash log shows this.

Event 41 happened after the crash, its a response, not a cause. Win 10 runs a report at startup and when it finds it wasn't closed down normally, it reports error 41

It wasn't a windows error that caused the restart, as its showing no bugchecks. If it had been windows you likely get a BSOD.

Heat and dust in fans/heatsinks can cause restarts
No overclocks?

Nope no overclocks. I have downloaded this hardware monitor to look at temps and voltages if that helps.

Were those temps in game as 21c in game on CPU is pretty good. I expect it was idle? See what you get in game.
Try running hwinfo and run as sensors only. in bottom of the panel it shows 4 icons, the one next to clock starts logging. click on it and create a text file just before you start playing games. The log will show us what parts in PC are doing just before it crashes

search coirtana for reliability history
choose the control panel choice
you get something that looks like
WTKaGeq.jpg

Do you have any red dots? you might have some just for the restarts, they show in MIscellaneous Failures, but if you have any others around same time, click on them and in bottom panel, next to error, in far column, choose view technical details and copy/paste them in here. It might give us a clue as to why PC restarting.

yes that's the temperature when idle. I have tried while running a game and it reached 36c before it crashed. I also noticed that the gpu reached 56c another time but it didnt crash. i forgot to check the cpu temp that time.

here are the results from hwinfo. I deleted some of the earlier data because of the character limit.

I tried searching for reliability history in cortana and it gave me only the miscellaneous failures. They all basically said;
The previous system shutdown at 17:02:28 on ‎14/‎11/‎2018 was unexpected.

I removed results as they not very helpful in that form.

did you ask it to create a log file? Upload that to a file sharing web site and show a link here. I can download it and run it on Excel, it is slightly easier to understand there :)

what are specs of PC?
What motherboard?
CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
SSD - 250gb Kingston drive
hdd - 1tb Western Digital
What PSU?
What ram?
