PC crashes when playing Heroes of the Storm

Heroes used to run fine but for the past month or so I've been having problems with Heroes crashing my PC (other games such as Shadow of Mordor and Skyrim run perfectly fine on ultra quality). This seems to occur randomly and no matter what the quality I play on.

Here's my PC Specs:

CPU:
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard:
MSI Z87-G43 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory:
Kingston Beast 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory

Video Card:
XFX Radeon R9 280 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card

Power Supply:
Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

I'm not entirely sure what else I need to add so please do say if I missed anything.

After looking up your video card I see it asks for 750 W minimum.... this is your card? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150706

if this is your card then you need to upgrade the psu

I had a thought it was the PSU but would you know why more graphically intense games such as Shadow of Mordor and Skyrim run fine?

Your psu is insufficient to support your hardware.
