My computer is a rig I've built myself, and its been plugging along great. Unfortunately, it started to function weirdly and then crashed altogether, forcing me to reinstall windows. Everything is fine now, except for the fact that all of the video games I've been playing have crashed after 5-10 minutes, although sometimes they last for an hour. I'm pretty sure all of my drivers are updated, I know my video card and audio are, as well as my chipset.
As such, I don't think my issue is software, but it might be my hardware. I clean my PC every so often, and I'm leaning toward the idea that my PC isnt cool enough, my airflow isn't great.
My PC is not overclocked, but here are my specs. If anyone could give me any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
OS: Windows 10 (x64) Home
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 16.00 GB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A
If I need to say anything else, please tell me.
Thanks!
