So my PC has recently been crashing quite a bit whilst playing CS:GO. I have all my settings on the recommended settings however sometimes my PC just completely freezes. Here's my parts:

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 670
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1600 MHZ)
Mother Board: Gigabyte Z97P-D3
CPU: i5-4460
WIndows 10

I also recently got a razer naga chroma, a razer blackwidow chroma and a new set of headphones which I can't remember the name of. I also have a blue snowball ice. Note sure if this matters but just thought I'd mention it.

The game just stops. The sound just loops the last 2 seconds of sound heard and I can't do anything but completely shut down my PC.

So the game is freezing the computer itself and you still have visual. Did it do this from the start or did it begin recently? Go into the Control Panel>Programs and Features and look for this game. If you click on it, does it give you the option to repair it?

Also, check your event viewer and look for the last time this happened, there should be a log of what happened. Can you copy and paste that in here?

don't have the fix option. Looking in the event log I found this error in the application settings.

The program csgo.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
