Hi genius people. I am not a genius when it comes to PCs.

Here's the problem. I recently upgraded my pc here is the before and after builds.

---BEFORE UPGRADES----
mobo: Gigabyte Ga-b75m-d3h
cpu: intel i7-3770k @ 3.50GHZ ~3.9GHz
gpu: nvidia gtx970 strix oc edition
ram: 8gig crappy green ram sticks with no model number on them
PSU: Antec 750watt
case: generic piece of crep
monitor: Asus VG278HE/144hz/27inch

BEFORE these upgrades there was no issues what-so-ever.

---AFTER UPGRADES----
mobo: Gigabyte Ga-b75m-d3h
cpu: intel i7-3770k @ 3.50GHZ ~3.9GHz
gpu: geforce GTX980ti "Xtreme gaming"
ram: Kingston HyperX 32GB(4x8GB)/1866MHz/DDR3 (usable 16 because using win7 home)
PSU: Antec 850Watt continuous power (duno what model but it says 'High current gaming' on the side)
case: Corsair case (1 front fan with red led lights)
monitor: Acer Predator XB27HU 27inch/IPS/144hz

--------------------THE ISSUE----------------------

So since those upgrades my fps and graphics improves heaps, but my pc keeps randomly shutting itself off with no warning signals or anything. No BSOD or error messages, just power goes off and it turns itself back on within a couple of seconds. At first i thought that it was only during games. But then it did it again once while the pc was loading up to the windows log in screen where you type your password etc. So im leaning towards a faulty power supply?

Things I have tried:

-Firmly resitting ram in slots. blown out dust etc, tried dual ram in the correct slots. Issue still occured.
-Updated bios to latest version
-different power cables from psu to wall + the psu to the gpu
-ive tested the temperature of my GPU and CPU both during gaming with intensive graphics. Neither exceeded 60-70degrees Celsius. CPU was running stable at like 50degrees.

--------------------THE QUESTIONS----------------------

1: I have looked in my bios but i can't seem to find any hardward malfunction test thing which my friend told me to look for. A Test you can run in bios which tests all the hardware connected to the mobo?

2: What can i do to figure out what causes the crash?

3: Is my MOBO 'powerful' enough for the new upgrades??? brand new card+old mobo does this cause issues? technically they should be compatible i researched it before the purchase.

If anyone would be so kind as to lead me in the right direction i would much appreciate it.

Thanks, "avid gamer who is noob with hardware"

--------------------TLDR----------------------

OP upgraded PSU, GPU, RAM. Pc randomly shutting itself off.

The b75 chipset doesn't support unlocked multiplier right?
So your overclock is a base clock overclock?

I think your overclock/ram relationship isn't happy. When you base clock overclock you affect the ram also.
Things you can do to fix this.
Remove your overclock.
Lower the Dram Ratio (So you aren't pushing your ram as high)

For now remove your overclock and run for a while.
Also running all 4 dimm slots populated can be a pain in the ass and sometimes requires a bit of a voltage boost to the cpu memory controller.

Hi thanks for your reply mate, honestly i wasn't really aware I had anything overclocked. I have never done any overclocking myself. Although I believe maybe my CPU came already overclocked at 3.9GHz when i bought it. I seem to remember when i bought it the guy said it was already overclocked. Also I'm not sure on how to do those things (remove the overclock) sorry totally learning as i go here lol its all new stuff to me i have had friends build my pc in the past. At the moment i only have 16 gig ram in the dimm slots. 2x8gig(If you have a look at google image of the Gigabyte Ga-b75m-d3h the ram is placed in the 2 blue slots. I had 1 in blue 1 in white but my friend said ram works better in the dual blue way...
