Question Pc crashing after installing new ram

I’ve just installed new ram and booted up my pc, checked if it read as 16 gb of memory and everything was good. I then restarted and went into my bios and made it run at its correct speed. I then saved and exited and now my pc crashed multiple times while booting up.

I changed then speed back to what it was and I’m able to boot up again. Could it be because my mobo?

I thought it might have been an issue with too low of voltage but when I change xmp profiles in bios to run at its rated speeds it automatically ups the voltage to its needed rate so idk the issue

Im 95% sure it’s because my cpu can’t be run the rated speeds but I have:

Mobo: gigabyte A320M-HD2

Cpu: ryzen 3 1300x

Memory: vengeance lpx 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz

What Exact model number is your RAM kit ?

So you will probably have to set the XMP to 3200 (for the timings) and then set the DRAM frequency to a lower speed.
I'd try 2666 and see if it boots, if it does try 2800 and then 2866 and ten 2933.
Then stress test it at the fastest spped it will boot at and if it throughs errors or crshes strees test I tat the next lower speeduntil you get it to run stable without any errors/crashes.
