Question PC crashing after restart

Hello,

I recently upgraded my system from Intel 6700k to AMD (specs below), did a clean install of win10, and the sytem decides to have multiple crashes after I restart it following the installation of programs. Day-to-day use with only turning it on/off is stable.

I know how to access event log but do not know what they mean.

Please help.

So you did install a bounch of programs, and after that it crashed ?

it crashed when I restarted it after installing a single program on multiple occasions and when I switched it to Game mode (1 active CCD) in Ryzen master or made any changes really (SMT on/off...). The latter I could fool around with on my previous CPU (6700k) as much as I wanted, not even a flinch or stutter to speak of.

and no overclocking either.

PS: after a program instalation-restart-multiple crashes sequence, it becomes stable afer I let it rest (usually overnight).

That sounds extremely annoying. I've not heard of this kind of thing before. Hard to know what to suggest. Maybe a buggy bios? Try an older version? Try a different PSU. Increase the ram and cpu voltage by a small amount.
