Question PC crashing and monitor losing signal

Hello all I appear to be having a problem with my PC recently it has been crashing and monitor cutting out losing signal. There seems to be no way around this so I just have to restart my computer using the case button. I'm not sure why this is happening as I am a bit of a noob when it comes to PC stuff. It's only just started happening and it usually only happens if I'm playing a game or watching a video but mostly when I am playing a game (doesn't always happen). I have played these games in the past with no problems whatsoever so I don't know what the issue is. Please any help would be gratefully appreciated.
