PC Crashing / Black, red, screen / Hard disk disappearing

Hallo guys,
Im experiencing a very weird problem in the last 3-4 days. Everything started when I bought a second-hand Sapphire R9 280x Toxic and wanted to have little fun with some new games. I started with Far Cry 4 and I played like 3 hours, when suddenly as I pressed the button for the map my PC crashed, red screen with some vertical lines appeared, and my PC had to be restarted. Then it booted very slow, got stucked on the AsRock logo for some time and when finaly I opened My Computer my second hard disc was not there. I did everything (replaced SATA cables, changed ports and stuff) Then when the PC booted, the hard disk appeared, but when I started the game and played a little, when I pressed the "map" button again it crashed and the hard disk disappeared. Yesturday I borrowed another hard disk from a friend and played the game from his hard disk and this time I had black screen, the PC had to be restarted, but this time the hard disk did not disappear. Now when I try to start the game it does not load correctly to the main menu but gets stuck on load screen and the CPU fan (and maybe the GPU's) start to accelerate.

Please help me figure out this problem!

-AsRock 970 extreme 3 rev 2.0
-AMD FX 6300 (overclocked 4.6GHz)
-Sapphire R9 280X Toxic
-16GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX Savage Red
-120GB SSD Kingston SSDnow
-1TB WD Caviar Blue
-Corsair VS 550
-6 Case Fans

Do you ever get a message saying something like Your display driver stopped working and has been recovered? Im sorry to say but i think you have a bad gpu. And your HDD is probably dying thats why with your friends one you could play fine.

No, I did not get such message. Just black or red screen and if I manage to stop the process of the game from task manager I see that the hard disc is gone from My Computer. With my friend's hard disc the game crashed again, but this time I restarted the PC and all the hard disk's showed normaly in My Computer.. :S

Im afraid you have a bad gpu, could u try with another one? And your hdd is most probably faulty, replace it.

Why it should be the GPU? Now the game does not load at all. And why the hdd when the both hdd's do the same, just the borrowed one doesn't disappear from My Computer.
