Just finished building a new PC with the below specs. Games for about 6 hours the first night no issues, then last night played the same game for 2 hours and my screen went black, what sounded like the GPU fan sped up very quickly and became loud, and the pc crashed. During the black screen I could hear my game and communicate with the people I was with on discord. I’ve researched this issue for a good amount of time, but haven’t found anything concrete to resolve the issue. Any help is appreciated!

update the BIOS

to have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

Reset the BIOS by jumper clrCMOS or JBAT or similar (eventually you will have to set the boot priority correctly after that)

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
