Hey guys, I need some help with my pc.

What happens when I crash ?
pc crash, restart, shut down, or screen just turn black, and i need to restart it by holding the power button.

When does my PC crash ?
it crashes on heavy load/games it happens when i play, NFS heat, NFS Unbound, Diablo IV and sometimes in DOTA 2 (all in utra settings). i did Cinebench r23 + Unigine Superposition and after around 30sec the crash happens.

My PC specs:
Asus TUF z490-PLUS(WI-FI)
i9 10900
RTX 4070 Ti (1080ti)
32GB RAM
1000w EVGA gold rated PSU

What have i tried already to troubleshoot the problem:
  • Format the pc,
  • clean the pc,
  • repaste 1080 Ti
  • repaste CPU
  • i've upgraded my 1080 Ti as i thought its dying and causing the crash. but it still happens with the new RTX4070 Ti.

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer.

Either or both tools may be capturing some error code, warning, or even an informational event just before or at the time of the crashes.

Start with Reliability History. Much easier to use and understand. The time line format may reveal some pattern.

Event Viewer requires more time and effort.

FYI:

How To - How to use Windows 10 Event Viewer | Tom's Hardware Forum (tomshardware.com)

In both tools you can click any given entry for more details and description. That information may or may not be helpful. Look for error codes in particular.

Post accordingly.

Use MSI afterburner to lower the power usage of the GPU and ixtu to do the same to the CPU.
Most probable cause of this is the PSU not being able to go above a certain amount of power.
While a 1000W PSU should be easily enough for your setup the mob and default settings can also make the CPU and GPU use up close to that.

Reducing power is an easy first test you can do.
