Hey everyone!

I recently built a new gaming PC and I've noticed some issues I was hoping to get some advice on.

All components are brand new, however I've noticed my fans begin to rev in the following games and then the PC crashes shortly after.
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps
  • Gears 5
  • Battlefield 5
I've also noticed screen tearing in games like Overwatch & Age of Empires 3.

On top of the above, my mouse is very laggy, but works fine when I plug it into another PC.

Based on my research, the parts I bought should definitely be able to handle the above games. I've tried updating Windows & all drivers and nothing's worked.

Looking through System Information I've found the below Problem Devices with error code 32, but I'm not sure if this is related and I don't know how to fix them
  • NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)
  • NvModuleTracker Device
Here's my components list:
  • GPU: NVIDIA GEForce GTX 1660 Super
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 4.20 GHz
  • Motherboard: MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk WiFi ATX Motherboard HT
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz
  • PSU: Corsair RM850x Gold 850W Power Supply
  • SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe SSD 1TB
  • x2 Corsair iCUE SP140 RGB PRO 140mm Case Fan
  • x3 Corsair CO-9050094-WW iCUE SP120 RGB PRO, 120 mm fans
Any pointers here would be really appreciated!

Solution
Also if your monitor is free sync capable, the 1660 series should be able to adapt to that. Look up how to enable it, g sync is similar, but is proprietary to nvidia. That should help with screen tearing though.
