Up until this point I have had no issues of any kind with this build but my components are as follows;
CPU: I5 4690K not overclocked
GPU: nvidia gtx 1070 not overclocked
RAM: 2x8gb sticks of g.skill ddr3
Motherboard: gigabyte GA Z97 HD3
Power supply: modular evga 850 platinum
SSD: Samsung 1tb 860 evo
HHD: Blue digital 1tb
Monitor: aoc c32g1 32 inch 144hz 16:9 curved

For some reason whenever I play my more graphically intensive games my pc crashes now but the weird thing is when I monitor the task manager etc none of my components are being pushed anywhere near 100% nor are their temperatures very high when they crash.

Resident evil 2 remake for example the component being pushed the most is the cpu but it only ever got up to 86% before the whole system just reboots.

I've tried:
  1. Uninstalling gpu drivers and reinstalling latest.
  2. Uninstalling and reinstalling windows 10
  3. Disassembling the build and rebuilding after cleaning out dust etc.

Please help? I just want to play.

Power supply looks pretty solid but how old is it?
