Hello and thanks in advance foe any help.
I have a RC410-M which the hp site says: " Maxium memory approved by HP is 2Gb (2x1gb) amd 400/533mhz"
I bought a 2gb stick to use it with my 1gb 800mhz corsair stick (pc works fine with that stick alone ).
After adding i saw the POST test and said "3073MB Detected", but afyer detecting all my hard drives and ssd it will hang up in "Checking NVRAM...UPDATE OK" test and wont go past it. It works fine with the 1gb stick alone.
Pc specs:
Motherboard RV410-M REV 1.1
Cpu Pentium 4 630 3.0Ghz
RAM Corsair xms21024-6400 ddr2 1gb 800mhz (working at 533mhz acording to cpu-z)
and i bought a Kingston ddr2 2gb 667mhz
Main drive Kingston SSD V300 120Gb
Is there any way to boot with the two sticks installed (3Gb) or am i forced to get another 1Gb stick? I ask this mainly because the motherboard seems to recognize all 3gb.
Thanks for taking the time to help me.
