pc display scrambled

Please can somebody help.

I have recently built my first pc which I can honestly say was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. However upon finally connecting my pc via a hdmi to my tv the image appears scrambled. I have taken everything appart and reconnected them again however the same problem is still there.


The parts for my build are as follows:

Msi 970 g46 mobo
Amd fx 8320
corsair vengance 8x2g
Corsair rm750 psu
arctic freezer rev 2.0 cpu cooler
1tb sshd
asus strix amd r9 390

I have tried three separate leads so far all of which I have also tried on other devices. As for a driver installation I dont see how I could as the visuals are completely scrambled. I have not been able to make it to the bios so far let alone install my os.

Most likely your card is defect. If you have another PC can you try your card on another
