PC displays nothing after a Windows Update finishes

Hello,
This has been happening ever since I've built this PC;
Whenever a Windows update finishes, my PC will restart, like usual, but then my monitor wont display anything. I know for a fact it's not an issue with the monitor because it's happened to me on different displays, whether it be a single monitor setup or a dual. However, once it happens to me I can just turn off my PSU and turn it back on and it will start up correctly with the update being installed, but I just wanna know if there's a way to fix this.

What OS version?


power the PC up

Once it "stops" pull the power out the back

Wait a minute and power it back up.

This should force it into repair mode and hopefully resolve the issue.

Sorry I never said the OS, I meant to but I guess I just forgot. I'm using Windows 10. And I will try that the next time I have to update; Thanks!
