Ok, so my PC will display when hooked up to my 55" via HDMI but will not display on any other Tvs hooked up the same way. It's an issue because my main rig is hooked up to my 55" and this secondary computer needs to be in the loft but it will not display on any of the tvs in the loft.

A little more detail would definitely help to solve your problem :) What specs? TV? Are you tryin to display on multiple monitors at once or not? etc.

Specs:
Mobo is a Gigabyte Intel H61 -- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CP87B20/ref=oh_aui...
GPU: GTX 660 ti PE
PSU: new 600 watt corsair
nothing else really matters at this point.
I dont believe Tv makes any difference. it works on a 55" element but not on like 4 other tvs. and no, im only displaying on a single display.

are you running 1080P 60 HZ to the TV? and do you have the TV 's HDMI input selected to the cable input? Do you have a DVI to HDMI adaptor to test TV input?

Hmmm i'm not really sure. If you can, try hooking up the working screen alongside another screen to the gpu and check on your working screen if the other screen is detected or not by going into the device manager. It may be that the screen is detected by the card but just not displaying anything. I read somewhere that the 6XX series gpu's sometimes have HDMI output issues when outputting to a HDTV so I would try using a DVI to HDMI adapter to see if that fixes anything.

Yes try that

That must mean that the other TV's you are trying to hook up to your rig aren't receiving any video input. Are the other TV's bigger than 55"? Also I would say try out a DVI to HDMI adapter to see if that fixes your problem.

You're last option would be to try that DVI to HDMI adapter. I searched some forums and it seems the adapter solved the same issue for a lot of people so I would give it a try. Someone is bound to have one laying around.

Alos, i dont feel like that would be an issue... All i'm doing at that point is using the DVI on the card vs thee HDMI. I've never had an issue like this with the HDMI before. It's being selective and i've never seen that before.

ok so i've got an idea. what i'm thinking is the other tvs that i have tried are not 1080p compatible. That would make sense as to why the screen wouldn't display on those yet it would on my 55 inch. im going to check the model numbers of the tvs i checked. if they are 720p ill try to lower the res on my main tv then swap over to the others.

A bit more insight. just plugged the second computer up to a monitor via DVI and it worked fine. it seems like there is an issue with HDMI to any display but my main 55". It's really weird. Never ran into this before.

Was the adapter DVI to HDMI? From what I've found this is a common issue with the 660ti. Glad you solved it!
