pc doent start afer gpu installation

AFTER REPLACING R9 270X WITH RX 470 PC DOENT START. MY PSU IS CORSAIR 650WATTS. WHEN I UNISTALL THE GPU THE PC STARTS . I DONT THINK ITS THE POWER SUPPLY BECAUSE 650W IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR RX470

1) Your shift key is broken, that can definitely cause issues!
2) Wattage isn't everything (and often a lie for cheap units, most $30 "650W" units are actually ~400 at most!), state exact models of everything you have
3) If your mobo is particularly old, it might not work with the 400 series. Update bios and see if that helps

I can definitely see an issue, and that's that the PSU is a PoS. It might not be the primary cause (check my first post for the most likely one), but it definitely ranks high. If the above didn't work, testing in a different computer is the first step, with replacing the PSU after that. My recommendation if you can't afford the Seasonic G 550, XFX TS Gold 550, EVGA G2 550 or Corsair RM550x would be a Seasonic S12II 520, it's only ~$55

PoS = Piece of Shit (i.e. horrible, useless, or actually damage inducing)

It's not that 650W isn't enough, rather that THAT power supply isn't good enough.

HOWEVER, that is only if the motherboard hasn't been updated to the latest UEFI

ok thanx. i ll check this "bios update" thing.its funny when i reinstall r9 270x (which is more power demanding according to sapphire) the pc is starts. (pity r9 270x has burned memory)

1) Like I said, most likely just bios compatibility issues
2) Wattage is almost never an issue, it's QUALITY that is. 500W is usually enough for any machine even at peak (excluding SLI/CF and garbage like the FX9590), the issue is that many power supplies can't deal with even a 50W change in the time frame of ~10ms, and new cards can do much more in much less.
