When there is a plugged in Ethernet cord the PC either recognizes it, but doesn't identify the network (limited internet access). Or it doe not recognizes that there is a cord even plugged in.

Solution
With the limited you need to go to Network And Sharing --> Click on ethernet --> Properties --> Internet Protocol Version 4 --> make sure it is set to obtain an ip automatically and same with the DNS

Also make sure the cord is plugged in nice and tight on the PC and Router
