[SOLVED] Pc doesn’t run like it used to

My pc was running well when I first built but then my cpu fan was going wack then I reset my pc and I used to be able to get 140fps on fortnite but now I can bearly get 60

My specs

Gtx 1070

Ryzen 2600

2x 4gb ram

It looks like you are hitting a CPU thermal limit, or perhaps your frame rate is locked to 60.

To check, turn off all power to your system, and unplug it from the wall. Then remove the CPU fan connector from the CPU_FAN header and place it back in the header. Also, make sure there are no obstacles than can interfere with the fan such as wires.

Also, make sure fortnite is set to higher than 60 FPS in the in-game settings.

Have you tried reseating the graphics card?

Have you checked your thermal Paste that could be the problem.
