PC doesn’t turn on PSU okay and graphics card power indicator lights up

My PC won’t turn on, I’ve tried hooking it up to a different power supply and shorted the power on switch, but it doesn’t turn on. On the Asus graphics cards, it has a light indicator that turns on, but the pc won’t

okay, try this;

1. look for the watch size battery on your motherboard, disconnect power from the psu to the wall, remove the battery from motherboard for 5 mins , put it back in. apply power cable try to start it


2 take motherboard out from case, leave ram in it, plug psu in pc, plug monitor to the on board video output (hdmi or other) leave video card out , plug power to PSU, power button to the motherboard, does it boot when you use the power button ?

So I took the CMOS out and to get at it I had to take out the GPU, I put the CMOS back in and bam, the thing boots. Thanks so much!

ya welcome, if this was caused because your tried to overclock your cpu, now you know how to reset it to try again
