Pc doesn't boot after adding extra ram

Hey guys, 1st time posting here, I really need ya
So I got this computer 3 days ago http://www.ebay.fr/itm/ULTRA-FAST-4-0GHz-QUADCORE-AMD-2GB-R7-Gfx-Gaming-PC-Desktop-Computer-8GB-1TB-FPC-/131008252619?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item1e80b34acb , works fine and stuff. I tried to add a 2gb ram stick that I got from another old computer, I expected it to not work and it didn't, unplugged the 2gb ram stick, booted my pc and now the 8gb does not work anymore :c

What did I do wrong, how can I do?
You're my only hope people, save me.


I'll pay a steam game under 20 bucks to the one who helps me

What does it mean you booted you pc and the RAM doesn't work?
How far did it go? Can you reach BIOS?

When I boot the pc I just hear a lot of bips and it doesn't stop, the monitor stays black
I tried with the 8gb only, the 2 gb only, even both; I just hear everything starting up and an infinite serie of bips

The beeps are there for a reason.
Look up the users manual of the motherboard, and there you will find what it means. This will point you to the problem.

Thanks for the answer Albert, but I already looked the manual, it says that an infinite serie of bip is because the ram is not correctly inserted or broken.. is it? I bought the pc 3 days ago, can the ram stick already be broken?

Well since you cant do anything without a BIOS, first try other slots with your original RAM.
If that doesn't work, do a CMOS reset ( look it up in the manual ) and get the latest BIOS.

.. I tried the different slots, I just resetted the cmos (jumper + battery) but when I start it same as before, no image, and bips
