PC doesn't boot after pluging a gpu (different from other threads)

Hey guys. I have a few years old asus en210 gpu which one of my friends borrowed for few months.today i got it back and pluged to PC. But PC didnt bootup.no beep sound and pitch black screen.then i unpluged it and tried to run by on board vga as usual.but unfortunately no boot no beep and black screen.

FYI:My friend told me the gpu was malfunctioning lately.i didnt think about it too much and wanted to give it a try.

PS: i tried swapping the memory, unplug then plug suff like HDD,cmos battery,keyboard,mouse. Cpu fan working.motherboard light works.HDD starts at the power on.

PSS: by following another thread i powered on without any ram.then motherboard beeped differently i think saying no ram inserted.however motherboard is okay right?

It honestly sounds like the graphics card is the culprit here, especially if your friend says it was malfunctioning. But you previously had the software for that card installed right?

Thank you for the reply. This is the same gpu i had been using before i gave it to my friend.even then it had some issues but i was mannaged to make it workable.
FYI: when i gave it to the friend, i changed bios priority back to on board vga since the external gpu not available.i did a clean windows installation few months back.

Can you try the gpu in another PC? Too bad you couldn't try another PSU also just to make sure. Probably not it but you could try taking the gpu out and see if you have a BIOS setting to change boot from UEFI to Legacy. Some cards have trouble with UEFI.

Hey guys first of all thank you so much for your replies.

I was managed to boot the PC. but i don't know what i did was actually. 😀
i was randomly unplugging and plugin stuff like cmos battery, ram.
the same friend gave me something called hiren's bootCD. he said this might by pass original bios and loads into a hiren's system. at first it also didn't work. but again i started to unplug,plug stuff randomly and tried the hiren again and voila!
since i removed the cmos battery my bios was completely at reset. but i wonder why things didn't comeback to normal since the bios was reset in my previous attempts. i don't know this hiren CD did the trick but thats what i have to share with you guys.
