guys i bought a new pair of rams yesterday and when i put it in and turn XMP on my pc doesn't boot, it only boots if i increase the voltage up to 1.38, is this ok? shouldn't it run without tweaking the voltages?

Solution
Guys can someone help?
So you're using 2x8gb Corsair kit? Could you tell which ver. is your corsair kits? they're on the sticker label on the sticks.

Also Try This step by step in order:
  • Update your mobo bios to the latest
  • Make sure ram is on slot 2 and 4
  • Enable XMP Profile
  • Set VCCSA/CPU SA Voltage to 1.21v, CPU IO/CPU VCCIO to 1.16v
  • Save and exit

Make and model of your motherboard? BIOS version for said motherboard? Processor paired with aforementioned motherboard? Which slots are you populating the motherboard's ram slots? Speaking of rams, got a link to said ram(kit)?
