Hey
My old RAM sticks are HyperX FURY DDR4 2666 1.2V
I've bought new RAM sticks, 2x XPG DDR4 3200 8GB 1.35V, tried to install them, but PC didn't boot up, for now i some how managed to boot up with one of my old ram on A1 and the new one on A2(they are next to each other). Tried to install my other new stick, but adding it to either 2 ports left didn't work.
Tried to run only with one of my new sticks in all 4 ports, but nothing seemed to work.

Also if i check on Speccy, it shows my new RAM stick Max Bandwidth DDR4-2666(1333 MHz), Part Number DDR4 3200, should it be like that?
It detects the new ram, but in Summary it shows also 1600MHz, instead of 3200?
12.0GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 1600MHz (16-20-20-38)

My motherboard is ASROCK Z170 PRO4S and it supports 3200MHz sticks.
Would love help!

Mixing RAM often fails completely

Take the new RAM out
Put the old RAM back in
Does the system boot as normal?

Take the old RAM out
Put only the new RAM in
Does it boot properly?

Speccy showing 1600 vs the labeled 3200, or 1333 vs 2666 is exactly correct.
DDR = Double Data Rate.

And even if you DO get it to run with this combination, it will be at 2666.

Managed to run it with 1/3 slots with my old RAM and 2/4 slots with my new Ram, should i only stick to my new RAM sticks 2x8GB 3200 or mix them together for total of 24GB of ram but down buffered to 2666MHz?
