Pc doesnt get power after installing 2nd hdd

Hey everyone,
Today I installed a 2nd HDD into my pc for storage purposes, so I opened my PC and without building the hdd into the PC connected sata and power cables to the hdd. I started my pc and everything worked my pc recpgnised the 2nd hdd. So I turn everything back off, including my PSU.
Next I build in my HDD, connect the cables and close my PC Case. At this point I noticed the Power button doesnt work so I check and the psu doesnt respond at all, when I press the power button nothing in the PC moves or turns on, dead silence.
I also tried unplugging the 2nd hdd and I still get no power the pc still doesnt turn on.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

First off I would check that when adding/removing the 2nd HDD you didn't accidentally pull out any cables (especially those tiny front panel connectors). Just go round methodically and make sure everything is plugged in as it should be. Also check the power cable into your psu and that the psu is switched on.
