Question pc doesnt interact mouse or keyboard

i have a prebuilt pc and i dont know a lot about pcs so this question may sound a bit weird
my pc doesn't interact with any usb i connect to it (for example a keyboard or a mouse) , the pc itself works and i have the windows home screen up but i cant actually do anything since i cant use a keyboard or a mouse ,i connect them to the ports and the pc doesnt interact , this isnt a problem with the mouse or keyboard since they work fine when i connect them to my laptop ( im writing this on my old laptop) anyone know what the issue may be?

Does the Windows USB connect/disconnect sound come when you plug/unplug USB devices (mouse/keyboard) ?

no it just doesnt do anything , i just now got a message about windows not working correctly and the mouse worked , then it asked me to install windows again and now its just giving me messages about how it unexpectadly restarted or something while installing windows over and over again

remove all devices except the required ones and see if it works then.
if i understand correctly, you are now in the process of installing windows again?

yes , when it gave me the error screen the mouse worked , but now the issue is that an error message that just repeats itself it goes like "the computer restarded unexpectadly or encountered an error windows installation cannot continue to install windows click OK" when i click ok it waits a few seconds , and then just gives me the same error , i think the issue is with the windows 10 and not a physical issue in the pc itself but i cant install windows now

The store where you bought should fix this problem. Otherwise (preferably), they should replace it.
