Hi,

i've finished to build a PC right now but when i try to power on it, pc seems dead.
I thought the problem could be related to the mobo or the system panel header pins but i can't say what's the problem, what do you think?

I'm sure the issue is not related to my power supply since the GPU fan led turns on correctly.

My power supply is a Corsair CX650M, mobo is AsRock H97 Fatal1ty Performance and my case is a Zalman Z3 Plus.

This is the setting for my pins watching from left to right:

Power Led+, Power Led-, Power Button+, Power Button- on first line
Hd Led+, Hd Led-, Reset Button+, Reset Button-, empty slot on second line

Here there are some screenshots of my configuration if it could help:

Solution
I apologize for being entirely off topic, but HOLY CABLE MANAGEMENT.

OK back on topic.
1.) Flip the PSU the other way, fan facing down. It's meant to be mounted this way. It still sucks in air from the ventilation underneath, and prevents crap from falling into the innards of the PSU and frying it.
2.) Check to make sure every plug and card is fully seated in its socket.
3.) Make sure the power supply is actually switched on. Make sure the wall socket isn't dead. Make sure your surge protector is actually armed and not off.
4.) Make sure you have a fan populating the CPU FAN plug on the motherboard

If things don't work still, try bypassing the power button by yanking that whole mess of cables out, and shorting the two pins...
I would pull everything out and put it back in. It could be as simple as a part not set right. Double check your cpu/motherboard for bent pins, and check your psu plugs, sometimes the pins get pushed back just enough to not make contact.

If it still doesn't work, power down, unplug something, power on, try again, until it does turn on. It could be many things, from a bad RAM slot, or bad RAM stick, loose/missing plug, to a rogue standoff or other metallic object shorting the back of the motherboard. Work through the process of elimination until you get to just the power supply, motherboard, and CPU. At this point, something is very wrong. I hope you have a spare, known working power supply if you ever get to this point. I hope you don't. It's not fun. Trust me.
